Bridging the Gap Design Studio

In order to promote scientific and cultural relationships with international universities, the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University has partnered with their counterparts at the School of Architecture at the University of Maryland in metropolitan Washington D.C in the United States to form a unique international design studio sponsored by global architectural firm, Gensler. The architecture students at Al-Nahrain University will design a project in Washington D.C. while University of Maryland architecture students will design a project in a similar site in Baghdad.

The Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Al Nahrain, has Organized a scientific seminar concerning on the technological incubators project in higher education with the participation of a number of the teaching staff and representatives of colleges at the university.

AL-Nahrain College of Medicine organizes a symposium about antibiotic- resistant bacteria

The Microbiology Branch/College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific symposium about antibiotic- resistant bacteria with the participation of Al-Imamain Al –kathimain (PBUT) Medical City and a number of specialists in this field.
The purpose of the symposium was to introduce the importance and danger of antibiotic- resistant bacteria, which is considered as the main cause of many infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea and contamination of wounds and burns.
