AL-Nahrain College of Medicine organizes a symposium about antibiotic- resistant bacteria

The Microbiology Branch/College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific symposium about antibiotic- resistant bacteria with the participation of Al-Imamain Al –kathimain (PBUT) Medical City and a number of specialists in this field.
The purpose of the symposium was to introduce the importance and danger of antibiotic- resistant bacteria, which is considered as the main cause of many infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, diarrhea and contamination of wounds and burns.

The Information technology engineering signs a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft

Proceeding from the principle of a productive university and community service, and the development of the study curriculum, the College of Information Technology Engineering at the University of Al- Nehrain has signed a memorandum of understanding with the company of (Bukaa Alustura) the center of Microsoft training.

The memorandum aims at establishing a training center and a department of producing software solutions to serve the state institutions and the private sector and to organize the partnership and scientific and technological cooperation.

Advisor of the Prime Minister for Education Affairs Visits Al-Nahrain University

Al-Nahrain University had the honor for the visit of
Dr. Walid Al-Hilli , Adviser of the Prime Minister for Education Affairs, who was received and welcomed by Prof. Dr. Nabil Khadum Abdul-Sahib, the president of Al-Nahrain university.

It was discussed during the meeting the development of the scientific and academic aspects, the electronic archiving and the development of all areas of scientific research, as well as the needs of the university.
