The College of Biotechnology organized a cultural festival titled “Antibiotic Awareness” aimed at raising awareness about the risks of excessive and uncontrolled use of antibiotics, its role in increasing bacterial resistance, and its negative effects on individual and public health.

College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University organizes a guidance lecture entitled Causes and Harms of Addiction: Digital Addiction as a Sample attended by a number of the college’s students. The lecture is presented by a member of teaching staff and University Psychological Counseling Unit , the instructor Thanaa Hindi Saleh.

Nibras Yasser Khudair from Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, has achieved a new research accomplishment by publishing a scientific study in the Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences & Cryptography, which is classified within the first quartile (Q1) in Scopus indices.
