Al-Nahrain University Welcomes the First Postgraduate Student Under the “Study in Iraq” Initiative

On Wednesday, Al-Nahrain University welcomed its first postgraduate student under the “Study in Iraq” initiative. The student, a Sudanese national, has been admitted to the College of Science.

The student was received by Prof. Dr. Omar F. Abdul-Rasheed, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasan Mosa Al-Mosawe, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations.

The Department of Computer Science at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, discussed the master’s thesis of student Hajar Alaa Al-Din Abdulmajid, titled: “An Optical Encryption Method for Colored Images in RGB and CMY Formats.”

The College of Engineering in Al-Nahrain University discusses the thesis of student ,Lubna Abdulkarim Abbas from the Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering entitled “Design of a Smart Optical Microscope with a Mobile Application which Works with All Smartphones for Leukemia Detection.”
