
The students' Activities Department at Al-Nahrain University organizes a series of diverse training courses depending on the directions and recommendations of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim for developing the skills of students and staff members and enhancing the culture of teamwork ,artistic and community engagement within the university campus.
The series involves a course entitled Volunteer Work :The culture of Ethics of Voluntary presented by Asst.Inst.Noor Munir Basheer.She focuses on the importance of instilling the concepts of volunteer work and spread its culture a social and humanitarian value which contribute to serving of community and enhance the spirit of cooperation. This course witnesses a notable activation from students and staff members.
The department also organizes a training course in Arabic calligraphy presented by the responsible of the Artistic Branch, Instr.Murtathah Mueed with the participation of the Instr..Nebeel Alwan .This course aims for developing the artistic skills of the participants and enhancing the cultural identity via showcasing the beauty of the Arabic calligraphy and its history with a wide attendance and positive interaction.
In related context, a course entitled The Community Context is organized and presented by Dr.Zaid Humeed Obeid and it attempts to instill the principles of positive communication and enhance the culture of constructive dialogue between members of the university community which attracts a large interest from the attendee who actively engaged with its contents .
These activities come from the directions of Al-Nharain University which aims for developing the thoughtful cultural and social skills of its students and its staff contributing in building an enlightened integrated university community.
