Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Cultural Trip to Samarra for Students of the “Study in Iraq” program.

The Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at Al-Nahrain University organizes a cultural and religious trip to the city of Samarra for Arab and international students admitted to the “Study in Iraq” program, in implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between Al-Nahrain University and the General Secretariat of the Holy Shiite Shrines.

The trip includes a visit to the Holy Al-Askari Shrine and attendance at the opening ceremony of the shrine’s museum, which houses a collection of valuable artifacts and archaeological and heritage items. The visit provids the students with an opportunity to learn about an aspect of Iraq’s cultural and religious heritage.

This initiative is part of the university’s efforts to promote cultural exchange and introduce international students to Iraq’s history and cultural landmarks, as well as to strengthen partnerships with national institutions in order to enrich the academic and cultural experience of international students.
