Al-Nahrain University achieves a strong position in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2027, placing among the Iraqi universities that attains advanced positions in the rankings. This achievement reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and scientific research and strengthen its academic presence at both the Arab and international levels.
The Assistant to the President of Al-Nahrain University for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Omar Farouq Abdul Rashid, affirms that the university’s presence among the top-ranked institutions in academic rankings reflects the efforts of its teaching and research staff and the university’s commitment to developing the educational environment and advancing the standard of scientific research. He also highlights the university’s focus on quality standards, academic collaboration, and openness to international institutions and universities.
He adds that the university continues to develop its educational and research programs and expand opportunities for scientific collaboration, thereby supporting its academic standing and strengthening its presence in recognized rankings. These efforts are in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s vision of advancing the standards of Iraqi higher education institutions
